Our annual walk to the Christmas tree lot
We surprised the kids with a trip on the Polar Express.
We rode the train all the way to the North Pole, where Santa was waiting to board!
No Polar Express trip would be complete without hot chocolate and caroling. The kids also got a silver bell, just like in the storybook.
Cashel and her hula sisters got to have a tea party at a local bakery. Cupcake decorating was a big hit with the girls.

Theatre at Cashel's school. Here's what you need to know: Cashel is a
baby that won't go to sleep (laundry basket = crib). She doesn't like
anything the family tries to do to make her stop crying ("No quiero!
Bwa! Bwa!"). Finally, the family dog comes in and jumps (salta), and
she and the dog both fall asleep. Exeunt omnes.
Dressed up for Church
We put the baby gate around the tree in a futile attempt to keep the cat out. Peter made better use of it as a load-bearing wall in his pillow fort.
Waiting for Santa
Merry Christmas!
Santa brought Cashel a fashion design studio.
Her first creations. Next she'll need a sewing machine!
Grandpa Jim made a bunk bed for Cashel's dolls. Think she's excited?
